How we picked these Figma UI kits
Every UI kit on this list has been opened and pulled apart in Figma. Nobody pays for a spot here, and UI kits get removed when they stop being maintained.
Five things decide whether a UI kit makes the cut: how much is actually in it, and whether the components are built properly rather than padded out with variants; whether it uses Figma’s current features, particularly variables for theming and dark mode; whether it’s been updated in the last twelve months; whether the licensing is clear about team use, refunds, and publishing the file as a shared library; and whether there’s a free version or a preview so you can check it before paying.
Prices and component counts are checked against each vendor’s own site every time we update this post. Where a UI kit publishes conflicting pricing, we use the pricing on the page you actually buy from. Untitled UI is our own UI kit, which is why it’s first, so read that entry with the appropriate skepticism and go preview the file yourself.

While researching the market for Untitled UI, it became clear that not all UI kits are created equal... The most popular UI kits for Figma on the market today lack in size, flexibility, or quality—usually all three. Untitled UI was built to solve this. This design system includes 10,000+ components and variants, 900+ useful global color, typography and effects styles + variables, and a whopping 420+ beautiful mobile and desktop page examples.
2. shadcn/ui kit for Figma
shadcndesign.com — From $119 per user
"Design & ship shadcn/ui projects faster."
Working with developers using shadcn/ui and need a matching Figma UI kit to kick things off? This has you covered.
The (unofficial) shadcn/ui kit for Figma is expertly built by Matt Wierzbicki and every component is crafted to match shadcn/ui exactly, including Auto Layout, variants, theming variables, light & dark mode, and even charts & graphs. This Figma UI kit eliminates one of the biggest pain points in hand-off workflows when working with shadcn/ui: the mismatch between design and code. With this UI kit, Figma aligns with the shadcn/ui implementation perfectly.
Designed for multi-brand support, theming via variables, and built with modern features in mind. It’s especially helpful if you’re working on a product that needs both design speed and developer alignment. Pricing starts at $119 for personal use of the Figma UI kit, with additional licenses available for access to code and a Figma plugin.
If you're looking for a UI kit that bridges shadcn/ui design and development, this is the best in the market.
3. Frames X UI Kit
buninux.lemonsqueezy.com — From $129 per user
"Frames X is the one Figma UI kit and eBook to skyrocket your career and save thousands of hours."
Launched in late December 2021 by Dmitriy Bunin, Frames X is a Figma UI kit and component library that also includes a design handbook. The Frames X handbook is a 94-page eBook of best practices and useful tips to help you improve your design workflow and build design systems that scale.
The accompanying Figma UI kit includes a wide range of 3,500+ reusable components and variants built with Auto Layout and dark mode, color styles, icons, and 420+ "building blocks" to help you get started on websites and apps.
Frames X is a great example of a mid-weight Figma UI kit and Figma design system. Whether you're new to Figma, looking to quickly launch new ideas, or build the foundations of a scalable design system, it ticks all the right boxes!
Frames X's pricing starts at $129 for a single user license, $259 for a "Team" license with up to three users, and $999 for a "Enterprise" with unlimited users.
4. Glow UI
glowui.com — Free Figma UI kit or from $72 per user
"The ultimate Figma UI kit crafted for professionals."
Glow UI is a big, general-purpose Figma UI kit and design system built for SaaS products and web applications. The PRO version ships 6,500+ components and variants, 450+ variables, 800 styles, 440+ icons, and 40+ responsive page templates.Glow UI is built on Figma Variables from the ground up
It’s built on Figma Variables from the ground up, so theming and dark mode are handled properly rather than bolted on afterwards. You also get a wireframe mode, Auto Layout 5.0 throughout, component properties, and WCAG-compliant colors. It’s designed by Alexey Likhobabin.
There’s a genuinely useful free version on Figma Community with 3,600+ components, although it’s limited to one user and skips dark mode and the templates. PRO starts at $72 for a single seat and scales up to $999 for unlimited users, paid once.
One thing to keep an eye on: the most recent published version is 1.8 from November 2025, and there’s no public changelog page to check against.
5. Disy Design System
disy.design — From €48 per user
"Simple and modern Design System."
Disy is a beautiful Figma UI kit and design system by French designer, Yoan Almeida. Launched in January 2022, Disy is a super minimal and simple design system and UI kit. Even the price is minimal—the single license is just €48, it's a small investment to speed up your design process and workflow.
While it's by far the smallest UI kit on this list, we love it because of its quality. It certainly won't have everything you need for a large project, but the included Figma components are high-quality and follow Figma best practices.
Disy comes with 280+ icons, 400+ basic components with Auto Layout, color styles, and a couple of beautifully-crafted example pages to explore new ideas or kickstart that new project.
6. Atomize UI kit
atomizedesign.com — From $79 per user
"Atomize empowers designers to create modern and visually appealing user interfaces and websites, while eliminating tedious tasks."
Created by Akash Tyagi, Atomize is a Figma UI kit and component library originally launched in 2018 for Sketch. More recently, they released an updated Figma UI kit.
Atomize 2.0 has been updated for Figma with the latest Figma features, including variables (dark mode), 200+ global styles, 20+ variables, 700+ components, and a consistent 4px grid system.
Their website claims that they are "The most advanced Design System for Figma". While this might be a bit of a stretch, Atomize is certainly a well-made and simple Figma UI kit. If you're looking for a lightweight and quick Figma UI library to get a head start on UI or web design projects, definitely check it out. You can preview the entire Figma UI kit via their website.
7. AlignUI Design System
alignui.com — From $119 per user
"Explore 5900+ components, unique widgets, dashboards, and others with a lightning-fast experience on Figma."
If you are looking for a modern design system for dashboard UI design, check out AlignUI Design System.
Launched in December 2023 by Erşad Başbağ, Melis Bıyıkçı, and Kerem Yıldan, AlignUI is an incredibly well-crafted and modern Figma UI kit designed specifically for SaaS / dashboard / UI design. It includes 5,900+ components, dashboard examples, and thorough documentation.
The solo user license is $119, with team licenses available for larger teams. You can preview this Figma UI kit from their website.
8. UI Prep
uiprep.com — From $99 per user
"10X your speed while becoming a Figma expert."
UI Prep is a Figma UI kit and design system created by Molly Hellmuth and Jake Tsacudakis. It's a well-built UI kit, consisting of 100+ global styles, 100+ icons, and multiple layout examples and UI elements.
UI Prep does a great job at utilizing the latest Figma features, including Auto Layout and Variants, making it easy to create beautiful user interfaces fast.
One thing we love about UI Prep is their back-to-basics approach. While it's not the largest or most advanced Figma UI kit, it focuses on best practices, simplicity, and is well organized. It includes well-crafted interactive components with Auto Layout, icons, color styles, and even a couple of example UI layouts.
The team behind UI prep also makes updates to the UI kit and have been focusing on expanding a wide range components, integrating dark mode variants, and improving the file structure. They also include a couple of useful "quick start" tutorial videos to get you up and running as soon as possible.
9. Relume Figma Kit
figma.com/community — Free Figma UI kit
"The Figma version of the Relume Webflow library."
Relume is a Sydney-based company most designers know for their Webflow library, and the Relume Figma Kit is the Figma half of that same component system. If you design in Figma and build in Webflow, this is the closest thing to a matched pair.
It’s a huge library of website sections rather than a traditional app UI kit, with 1,000+ components and every one shipping with mobile variants. Color and size run on Figma Variables, typography runs on text styles, and new components land on a monthly cadence voted on by their community.
Worth being precise about how it works. You duplicate a file rather than subscribe to a published library, so each project gets its own copy. There’s also no light and dark mode toggle. Relume handle theming through color schemes you set up yourself, which is a design decision rather than a switch.
The free Community file linked above sits slightly behind the premium UI kit, which comes with a paid Relume plan and gets new components first. If you’re not heading for Webflow, treat this as a very large wireframe and section library, because handoff is the reason it exists.
10. Base 02 UI Kit
pixsellz.io/base-02 — From $59 per user
"Starter Kit for your UI Design Projects in Figma."
Base 02 UI Kit is a minimal Figma UI kit from the talented UI/UX designers behind Pixsellz. It's specifically designed to be a quick "starter kit" for UI design projects, allowing you to design interfaces quickly and efficiently.
The Pixsellz team have included the latest Figma features, including color variables and global styles for light and dark mode. The Figma file is nicely organized and includes all the basic UI elements you need, including a library of 1,000+ icons and 70+ useful avatar placeholders.
We love Base 02 because it's quick and easy, well-built, and affordable. Base 02 is a good option for quickly mocking UI design and for simple projects.
11. Sort UI
sortui.company — From $99 per user
"Launch projects 10x faster with Sort UI Kit for Figma"
Sort UI is a self-contained Figma design system built on its own foundations rather than on Tailwind or shadcn/ui. It leans hard on Figma Variables, with 600+ ready-to-use color and typography variables plus configurable spacing and corner radius, light and dark modes built in, and auto layout throughout so components resize to fill or fit.
It’s made by Shiryoku, who also sell a separate Framer kit and a small store of templates and mockups.
The Figma UI kit is $99 for a single user, the Framer kit is $79, and the "Sort UI Pass" bundles everything for $199. All one-time payments with lifetime updates. There’s no free version of the main UI kit, and the Figma and Framer kits are separate purchases.
Two things to check before buying. Their license is stricter than most on this list, with a clause allowing them to terminate it at any time without conditions, and refunds are only offered for serious file issues within 15 days rather than for change of mind. The last published version is 1.3 from April 2025, so there’s no 2026 update on record yet.
12. Apple Design Resources – iOS 27 and iPadOS 27
figma.com/community — Free Figma UI kit
Apple publish their official design resources on Figma Community, and iOS and iPadOS 27 is the current release. You get a complete range of components, views, system interfaces, text and color styles, materials, and layout guides.
If you’re designing native iPhone or iPad interfaces, this is the reference file to work from. It’s free, it’s official, and it’s the closest thing to a source of truth for iOS design in Figma.
Worth knowing that Apple’s previous release, iOS and iPadOS 26, is still in wide use among teams who haven’t upgraded their reference file yet. Check both files’ duplicate counts on Figma Community before picking one, since adoption shifts as more designers move to the current release. Apple’s Figma Community profile also has watchOS 26, visionOS 26, and an app icon template for iOS, iPadOS and watchOS 27.
13. Apple Design Resources – macOS 27
figma.com/community — Free Figma UI kit
The Mac counterpart, and the one most roundups forget about. macOS 27 covers windows, sidebars, toolbars, controls, menus and system views for designing native Mac apps.
Designing for desktop is where most UI kits leave you on your own, so if you’re building a Mac app this saves you an enormous amount of guesswork. macOS 26 is also still available if that’s what you’re designing against.
14. Material 3 Design Kit
figma.com/community — Free Figma UI kit
"Material Design’s most personal design system yet."
If Apple’s UI kits cover one half of mobile design, this covers the other. The Material 3 Design Kit is Google’s official Figma file for Material Design, and it’s the most widely used design system file on Figma Community by a large margin.
You get the full Material 3 component set with embedded metadata for accessibility, color specs and token IDs, Dev Mode code snippets, and components that actually behave when you prototype with them. Google pair it with their Material Theme Builder theme plugin, which generates a full tonal color scheme and a matching set of color variables from a single source color.
Material 3 Expressive landed in May 2025 as an update to this same file rather than a replacement, adding button groups, FAB menus, split buttons and toolbars, a spring-based motion system, and a much larger shape library with shape morphing.
Two things worth knowing. It’s historically a styles-based file rather than a variables-based one, so check how theming is set up before you build on it. And free on Figma Community covers the file, not Google’s trademarks, so this is for designing Material-style products rather than borrowing Google’s brand.
15. Microsoft Fluent 2 for Figma
figma.com/community — Free Figma UI kit
The third of the big platform UI kits, and the one almost nobody lists. Microsoft publish official Fluent 2 UI kits for web, iOS and Android, all free.
The interesting file is the Fluent 2 Design Language library sitting underneath them, which holds global and alias variables for color, stroke width, corner radius, spacing and size. Theming and light or dark mode are driven by Figma variables rather than styles, which makes this better built for real product work than most free platform UI kits. Components are shallow-nested, use variants and component properties, and map to Microsoft’s code libraries, so handoff into Fluent UI React lines up.
The catch is what it’s for. This exists to keep Microsoft and Copilot surfaces consistent, so it’s aimed at teams building inside that ecosystem. Microsoft’s brand guidelines also restrict use of their logos, icons and illustrations, so the file being free does not make the Fluent brand assets free to ship in your own product.
Also worth knowing that the Fluent 1 and Fluent 2 files share the same URLs, so old screenshots and descriptions still float around, and there are a lot of unofficial copies. Start from Microsoft’s own get started page rather than searching Community.
16. Cabana
cabanaui.com — From $79 per user
"A better way of designing starts here."
Cabana is a Figma UI kit and collection of Figma templates. It consists of 1,000+ essential UI components, and design "blocks" that you can use to construct page layouts fast.
Cabana have recently dropped their prices, possibly to compete with newer UI kits being released. The Figma-only license now starts at $79, and their $99 option adds the Framer version on top. Cabana is a good option for quickly mocking up landing page designs and for simple projects.
Ant Design System for Figma
antforfigma.com — From $149 per user
"Speed up your design process with pixel-perfect UI elements.
Ant is a large Figma UI kit made by Matt Wierzbicki. It is based on the most popular React UI library, Ant Design. It's been around for years and is a growing library that is great to use to design well-documented desktop and mobile apps, particularly if you're using React to build the designs.
Their $149 Starter Bundle includes the Figma UI kit and is a one-time payment rather than a subscription. Extra resources such as Ant Design Mobile (for mobile app design) and Ant Design Charts sit in their larger $299 and $549 bundles.
Ant Design System is also available as an Adobe XD UI kit and they have a free demo version available to download and explore.
18. Blank Design System
useblank.design — From $89 per user
"The fastest UI Kit & Design System for your projects."
Blank Design System is a beautiful web design UI kit from the team behind Craftwork Design.
Create high-quality landing pages with a wide range of 3,200+ fully customizable and neatly organized web components. Blank Design System is one of the smaller UI kits on this list, but it's very well-organized with Auto Layout 4.0, variables, and includes ready-to-use templates and design layouts for inspiration. We particularly love the soft gradient style used across the UI kit.
19. Practical UI
practical-ui.com — From $99 per user
"Design faster."
Practical UI is the opposite bet to most UI kits on this list. Instead of throwing thousands of components at you, Adham Dannaway has built something deliberately lean and opinionated, with hundreds of component variants rather than thousands.
It’s built around Figma Variables for color, typography and spacing, with component properties, interaction states, light and dark mode, elevation shadows, 4px layout grids, and 300+ open source icons. Adham states it’s 100% WCAG 2.1 level AA compliant, which almost nobody else on this list commits to in writing.
There’s no code counterpart and it isn’t built on Tailwind or shadcn UI, so this is a design-side pick. It pairs with his Practical UI book, although the starter kit bundled with the book is not the full design system. You can preview the file for free before buying.
Two things to check before you buy: there are no refunds on the design system, and the solo license doesn’t let you publish the file as a shared Figma library. You need a team license for that.
20. Prime Design System
primedesignsystem.com — From $89 per user
"Unbox a universe of design possibilities."
Prime Design System is a Figma UI kit created by Thalion. It's a really well-crafted Figma UI kit, built with Figma's latest new features including variables (dark mode), Auto Layout 5.0, and over 3,100 components.
You can preview the entire Figma UI kit via their website. It's nicely organized and includes all the basic components you would need for UI design projects. Prime Design System is definitely more skewed towards components for UI and web applications, and does not include much in the way of website sections or components.
21. Preline UI Figma
figma.com/community — Free Figma UI kit
"Preline UI Figma is the largest free design system for Figma."
Preline UI is a Figma UI kit and design system crafted specifically for Tailwind CSS styles. Best of all, Preline UI have been generous enough to make this file 100% free for Figma Community!
It's well-crafted with auto layout, features over 7,900 Figma components and variants, is well documented and even compatible with the Figma Tokens plugin for exporting design tokens to code. We're looking forward to see what the Preline UI team have planned for this as it looks like a great project.
22. MynaUI
mynaui.com — Free Figma UI kit or from $99 per user
"TailwindCSS and shadcn/ui UI Kit for Figma and React."
If your developers are already working in Tailwind, shadcn/ui and Radix, MynaUI gives you the Figma half of that same shadcn UI stack. The Figma file and the React code are built as counterparts, so what you hand over is what actually gets shipped.
It covers elements, forms, 70+ marketing blocks and 50+ application blocks, with dark mode throughout. The Myna icon set is bundled too and is fully open source with 1,180+ icons. It’s built and maintained by Praveen Juge.
The free tier gets you the elements code and a cut-down Figma Community file. The marketing and application blocks are behind the $99 one-time PRO license, which covers a single seat, with team licensing up to 50 seats available on request.
The public changelog shows no recent updates since December 2025, so it's unclear if this is still actively maintained.
23. FlowBite
flowbite.com — From $169–$299 per user
"Figma UI kit built for integration with Tailwind CSS."
FlowBite is a Figma UI kit created by Themesberg. It's specifically designed based on Tailwind CSS, a popular utility-first CSS framework.
FlowBite is great if you're working with Tailwind, but is also a solid standalone UI kit to use as a base for your design system or project. It consists of 27 responsive page examples and the team has released a free version to demo on Figma Community.
24. Keep Design System for Figma
keepdesign.io — From $99 per user
"Keep Design System & UI kit built to ensure that every element of your design aligns with a unified vision."
Keep is a Figma Design System and UI kit created by StaticMania. It includes 5,000+ components and their variants, 55+ beautifully crafted pages with mobile app design versions, and over 200+ unique blocks across 5 ready-made templates.
Keep is well-crafted with auto layout and is well documented. We're looking forward to see what the Keep team have planned for this as they've hinted that Webflow and React components are in the works.
25. Karma Wireframe Kit
karma.design — From $59 per user
"A collection of practical and carefully crafted pages helps get your website up as quickly as possible."
The purpose of wireframing is to quickly iterate on new ideas before starting on the "final" designs. Instead of focusing on the tiny details, wireframing allows you to generate many low-fidelity solutions quickly.
There are a bunch of Figma wireframe UI kits floating around the internet, but we've found they are almost always low-quality and don't use Figma best practices and Auto Layout. Karma is the exception.
Karma Wireframe kit is a website Figma component library by Burcu Doyran. It includes 900+ blocks to help you kickstart new projects and new ideas. With color styles and basic components, it includes everything you need to quickly spin up content and designs to share with clients before getting bogged down in the finer details. If wireframing is an important part of your design process and workflow, definitely check it out!
26. Landify Landing Page UI Kit for Figma
landify.design — From $119 per user
"A collection of practical and carefully crafted pages helps get your website up as quickly as possible."
Landify is a landing page UI kit for Figma consisting of 170+ "blocks", 500+ components, icons, color styles, and 5 sample pages. It's a great asset to quickly spin up beautiful marketing websites in no time.
Originally launched in 2020, designer Aravind Little Jack has spent countless hours updating this UI kit with tablet and mobile breakpoints (for mobile app design) and relaunched v2.0 in January 2022. Check out the free UI kit on Figma Community.
It's well-organized and includes color styles, text styles, as well as some great examples of landing page components. While it's focused purely on website designs and missing application components, one thing we love about this UI kit is that it comes with tablet breakpoints. Most UI kits skip this as it can quickly bloat design files, but Landify is slim enough to include this breakpoint.
27. Shipfaster UI Design System
thedesignership.com — From $90 per user
"Build world-class UI effortlessly with 8,000+ customizable components."
Shipfaster UI is a new Figma UI kit launched in January 2022. It's the next iteration of the original design system by The Designership team, who also have a Figma course for sale.
It's important to note that Shipfaster UI do not offer refunds, which is legally questionable in some countries and in general a red flag. Just make sure you thoroughly preview the UI kit before you purchase. It's also unclear whether or not you'll receive free updates as their FAQs state "you will gain access to free updates to the design system until stated otherwise."
Shipfaster UI is a mid-weight design system and is reasonably well-built. They have taken a bunch of assets from Figma Community files and repurposed them into their UI kit. It's mainly focused on marketing website design and intended for beginner and educational users, which ties in well with their beginner Figma course. It comes with 150+ color styles, icons, and 8,000+ components and variants. You can preview the UI kit via their website.
28. Tetrisly Figma UI Library
tetrisly.com — From $99/yr per user
"Starter kit to create design system's UI library for Figma."
Tetrisly is a light Figma UI kit, designed as a starting point for larger design systems. It consists of 2,500+ components, 55 predefined color styles, and 700+ icons.
The team at Tetrisly have created a Figma and Sketch version of their UI kit, and you can preview a demo Figma UI kit via their website.
29. Nucleus UI Kit
nucleus-ui.com — From $99 per user
"Supercharge your design workflow with high-quality Figma UI component library, UI kit and templates."
Designing social media apps? Nucleus UI started out a 100% free mobile app UI kit and component library made by Thomas Budiman, Juinal William, and Salmun Barnabas. It's based on iOS Human Interface Guidelines and contains 300+ components and variants across 50+ categories. It also includes 36 screen examples. You can find the free UI kit on Figma Community.
Recently, the Nucleus team have updated their website and released "Nucleus Pro", a Figma UI kit with 1,000+ components and variants, 800+ mobile app design screens, and 500+ web UI pages. They also offer a free version called "Nucleus Lite". It can be tricky to find good app UI kits, especially free ones, so Nucleus is a real gem.
30. Stratum UI Design Kit

What is a UI kit?
So, what exactly is a UI kit? A good UI kit is a vast collection of reusable UI components (such as buttons, inputs, navigations), font and typography styles, color style palettes, and other useful design assets and elements. UI kits contain everything you need to design great websites or apps. If you're working in a team, they can be published as a team library and act as a single source of truth.
You don’t realize the power of a good quality Figma UI kit, Figma template, or good design system until you start using one. A good UI kit saves you time and money usually spent on meticulously building the same components over and over again. It can 10-100x your workflow and become the building blocks for a complete design system. A good UI kit is more than just a component library, but also contains an in-depth style guide, color styles, color variables, design tokens, icons, and everything else you need.
A good way to assess whether or not you need a UI kit or wireframe kit in your design process is to ask the question, “will this UI kit save me a few hours of work in a design project?” If the answer is YES, it’s probably worth the investment. Then, it becomes an asset you can use in unlimited future design projects.
Why use a Figma UI kit?
Building modern UI designs from scratch can be tedious. If you've ever taken on a large project — whether an app, website design, or complex dashboard — that is actually going to get built, you quickly realize that it's not just a task of creating a couple of MacBook and iPhone screens that look great... Under the surface of high-quality products and websites, there is always a growing library of thousands of individual UI components, reusable components, elements, design files, responsive screen designs, brand guidelines, design tokens, and dozens of other project needs. These are just as important to the long-term success of the project.
Hundreds of hours of "hidden" work are spent on creating these design assets and Figma templates. It's not enough to create a nice-looking home page, modern UI and websites need to have good usability, be consistent, follow clear and consistent brand guidelines, and stand out in the competitive design industry. When you're tasked with creating beautiful user interfaces in a real-life project with a limited budget and time, getting this design workflow right can be extremely challenging.
Thankfully, design assets have come a long way in the last few years and there's a shortcut when starting a new project to really speed up your design workflow... They're called UI kits. Whether you're designing a simple home page, a creative agency landing page, or a complex mobile app, chances are there's a high-quality Figma UI kit and design system out there to help you.
UI kits and design systems are more than just style guides. Taking advantage of a Figma UI kit can help you get ahead early and deliver beautiful, consistent, accessible designs on time and within budget that meet the new project needs. If you're working on a large project, UI kits are a great way to start building a design system and team library with reusable components.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about choosing a Figma UI kit, covering cost, free options, and how to evaluate one.
What's the best Figma UI kit overall?
Untitled UI Figma is the largest and most popular Figma UI kit and design system, with 10,000+ components and variants, 900+ color/typography/effects styles and variables, and 420+ page examples, plus 2,250+ 5-star reviews.
It's built with 100% Auto Layout 5.0 and Figma's latest variables features, and works for everything from marketing sites to complex dashboards — available free or for $129 lifetime access.
How much do Figma UI kits typically cost?
Single-user licences generally run from $59 up to around $289, though a good number are free. Relume, Apple's iOS 27/iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 kits, Material 3, and Microsoft Fluent 2 are all free, while paid options like Ant Design System ($149+) and FlowBite ($159–$289) sit at the higher end.
Untitled UI Figma covers both ends, with a 100% free version and a $129 lifetime PRO option.
What's the best free Figma UI kit?
Untitled UI's free Figma UI kit is the strongest general-purpose option — it's more advanced than most paid kits in its own right.
For platform-specific work, Apple's iOS 27/iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 kits, Google's Material 3 Design Kit, and Microsoft's Fluent 2 are all free and maintained directly by those companies, while Relume is a solid free pick for marketing sites with Webflow handoff.
What should I check before buying a Figma UI kit?
Five things: how much is actually included and whether components are built properly rather than padded out with variants; whether it uses Figma's current features, especially variables for theming and dark mode; whether it's been updated in the last twelve months.
Also check whether the licence is clear about team use, refunds, and publishing as a shared library, and whether a free version or preview file exists so you can check it before paying.
Should I use a framework-specific Figma UI kit (like shadcn/ui or Ant Design) or a general-purpose one?
A framework-specific kit like the shadcn/ui kit for Figma or Ant Design System for Figma matches your codebase's components 1:1, which speeds up dev handoff if your team is already committed to that framework.
A general-purpose kit like Untitled UI Figma is the better choice if you're not locked into a specific frontend framework, since it stays flexible across different tech stacks and design directions rather than mirroring one library's naming and structure.
